The Fight Is Over

More than two years ago when we first noticed this little angel snoring in his sleep. Since that time, we never stopped searching for the answer why he sleep that way. And I started the search, here on myLot.

His battle started when he was still a year and two months old. That was the time when he lost his breathing on night. We almost lost him.

We had been to a lot of doctors too. But only this July that we got a confirmation from a specialist, that he has sleep apnea.

The fight continues, not only for him but also for me to find the right source of funds, for medication and the surgery. You gave strength not to give up, with your support, your prayers, and with a little share of your blessings.

Then they came to the rescue. TV5 Alagang Kapatid, a local TV program that aims to give hope and help the needy with their medical problems promised to help us look for the right institution for Zayzay' operation.

Three months ago when the program brought us here in Manila and with us everytime Zayzay have to be in St. Luke's Medical Center for check-up, tests and until the actual operation.

December 6, 2010. The date for what I called the BIG DAY for Zyruz Jayneil came. My wife was in tears seeing him crying and in pain, while she left the O.R. But the proceedings run smoothly, in just an hour.

Days passed, and now he sleeps normally, without snoring, without stop breathing, without the apnea. He eats better now than ever before. And he's back to his hyper-activity, and for being a menace to his playmates.

And now, we can say The Fight is Over...

So, Thank God for we have YOU...
